Some would "weep" like that for YEARS, with no ill effects. If it really weeping a little boil, and not coolant, that would be the lesser of two evils. Some folks, when overhauling these, would put a third "O" ring in the (normally empty) middle groove leading to the weephole, and some even seal the middle groove up with silcon rubber.
