When i was a mere tot, my Grand-father had an immense collection of arrow heads. kept them on display, in glass cases, in his sitting room. The local Pittsburgh, Pa. paper got wind of it, so they came out and took pictures of the collection, and had a fine write-up about it. They even had me in one picture! but, the depression came, things got tough, Grand-dad, my father and an uncle lost everything on the stock market, so Grandfather sold everything to a friend! The only thing i got out of the collection was a trade axe, which i still have! Grandfather was a river man, steamboat builder, and Captain of one boat, near Marietta, Ohio. I suppose he found most of his stuff in the river, or on the banks, or wharves. Rustyj
