My 11 year old nephew and one of his friends were out riding their bikes a few nights ago. They were on a pretty big hill when his friend lost control and hit his head pretty hard. The doctors aren't sure if there will be any brain damage yet or not. It shook my nephew up pretty good. Helmets may look silly but they do save lives and make injuries more unlikely. This boy wasn't wearing one, I wonder if my nephew will wear his now.
