Assuming that your effective cutting width is 5 feet (allowing for overlap), then for an acre you cut a strip 43560 sq. ft/acre divided by 5 ft. or 8712 feet long (1.65 miles). If you cut at 4 miles an hour it takes 0.41 hour or 24.75 minutes. But you have to factor in what you are cutting, how sharp the bushhog is, etc. you might have to go slower to get a decent cut in one pass, if you slow down to 2 miles an hour, then it is almost an hour. Not allowing for turns, headlands, etc. WHen starting, your hourly cutting rate is faster than at the end when you are chasing that small patch and have to turn way around the cut area to make another pass at it.
