Maybe twice a year I will add a bottle of rubbing alcohol in my gas tank to dissolve any water that maybe in the tank. On my diesels I use treat the tank in the fall with power service and once in May to get rid of any water. But my chainsaw gas gets stabil because the gas / oil mixture deteriorates pretty fast.
