Yes, you can lower blowby for at least a little while by adding enough STP or similar product, if it is not a cracked liner or head gasket leak. When I was in my early teens, a friend had an old 56 Chevy with an oil burning, blowby spewing 265 small block. He added 5-6 cans of STP and it stopped burning oil and blowby went by-by. Lasted for about two weeks. It gummed everything up so bad, that you stopped to add oil every 5 miles and the blowby was so terrible that you could barely see to drive. Couldn't really tell what it was when he first came down the road. Until he pulled in the driveway we thought the county had bought a mosquito fogger.
