We are having at tractor ride in southwest Missouri on October 14th. We ran a route, proposed it to the Sherrifs dept, was approved and also have escorts and trucks pulling trailers in case someone breaks down. All tractors must have a SMV sign, no drivers under the age of 16, no passing, and no radios on the tractors. Lead tractor sets the pace, we also position several tractors in line with cell phones in case of an emergency to notify the escorts. We also have one rider who is a Paramedic. We are going approx 40 miles with numerous breaks and a catered BBQ lunch at a tractor museum. Done it last year it was fun so we are doing it again, just remember SAFETY-SAFETY-SAFETY.
