Scams and reporting them??

I have seen post on here before concerning the scams run from overseas where the "personal assistant" shows up with the cashiers check and they expect you to cash it and give them the extra. Thanks to the people who have posted to warn sellers. I have had that happen to me just this week and I recognized it as a scam due to the warnings I have read from people on this site. For that I say thank you. The sorry thing about it was first contact was made using a service for a deaf or mute person. This may have happened to some of you but I thought how sorry that was. I am sure it is used to cover for the inability to speak english. My question would be is there any place or person to report this activity to? Thanks again and keep your guard up!!!
