Value of John Deere 2030?

I have a chance at purchasing a John Deere 2030 but the engine is stuck. Tin is good-except battery cover missing and fenders are a little bent. Has 3 pt and remotes. One rear tire looks new, the other is wore out. Fronts look good. The guy wants $1500. What do you guys think?
