The old M series that the current models replace have been around a long time and are just about bullet proof and dead simple to work on. The M6800-9000's are very popular here as the do everything tractor on an operation. The cab models are nice as the shifter is off to the side and most have a hydraulic shuttle. I have read of one fellow using his for commercial logging and he popped a shaft in the front diff climbing a pile of logs. Was an interesting looking rig with full fops welded onto the machine.
