Whatever they want, gas prices around here vary 30+cents from going to work and going home. Cook county has a 10cent metra cta tax boone and McHenry county doestn have. Gas in 4 stations I know of get gas out of rockford, IL Cook county is farther away from rockford then mchenry or boone however gas in cook county is cheaper right now then it is in boone so go figure.
