The wife and I have spent the past few weeks on our days off looking for bear, hog and deer sign in the Cherokee national forest..... Not many nuts (at least not the kind that come from trees) to be found. As a result, not seeing much in the way of big game signs.....no food, no game..... That said, the cherokee is over 600,000 acres, and I haven't looked at very much of it..... If nuts equal winter then it'll be mild around here........
