What a weekend. Severe storms with several tornados Friday evening. These storm produced from 12 to 17 inches of rain Friday night thru Saturday morning. Lots of flooding. I was able to get most of my cattle out. Had three cows that were trapped but found out yesterday morning they swam out and were ok. Several neighbors lost cattle but are finding them down reiver on high ground. I lost 50 round bales and one tractor completely under water. On a funny note, the tractor that got under water had a bad tire on the front. About ready to blow out. When the water went down enough to get to the tractor, we saw a tire that was lodged in a fence about 50 feet from the tractor. It turned out to be the same size and brand tire that is on the tractor and the tire we found is nearly new. We just had to laugh about that.
