Id check the obvious first, fan, belt, shutters, (if applicable) then crank it cold with cap off set throttle about a third watch for water momvement in radiator, if as it heats up you dont see flow pull the thermostat and try it without one, if it cools ok then replace stat. If you do see momvement watch for bubbles (and hope you dont see any) if you do youve got head,gasket,block probs if thats the case Im hopin for warranty. One other thing Ive seen is the suction hose collapsing at higher RPM's so take a peek at it while at speed...hope this helps
