You're right it's a tractor I'm looking for, the Cubs were just a bizarre afterthought. The Ford sounds like the most versatile rig for my intended uses. The easy trailering/garaging is an added bonus. Thanks for the replies.

I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
