sounds like the trailer is stout enough to handle it. i would repack all the wheel bearing, get a set of at least 6 ply trailer tires, and check all the bolts on the leaf springs and walking beams. over time the bolts wear thru from rubbing. when you load it make sure you have some tongue weight on the trailer so it doesnt start whipping when you tow, i heard about 10% of totakl weight of trailer should be on the tonge, 5000 lbs trailer loaded, 500 lbs on the tonge.
