Sorry about the loss of your friend. That story reminds me of when I worked at a ford auto dealership. A new foed falcon had a bumping noise in the left rear quarter panel. When we removed the back seat and the inside trim we found a 3/4 pipe about 12 inches long standing up insie the body cavity. It was too long to fall down and every time the owner turned a corner it flopped from side to side against the body. Strange things do happen!

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics.
