Congrats. It is common to want a wedding in early summer at least in the upper midwest of the USA - winter is not a good time to plan a celebration. It is also very, very difficult to line up the church, reception hall, & so forth in less than 6 months, and often requires a year - here in the midwest in somewhat smaller communities. So if one is into that type of wedding, over a year is very common. Then, some go to Vegas or the local justice of the peace & get married in a week or so. To each their own. Was the over a year route for me too, & fine with me. :) --->Paul
