Aloha, You could parallel your batt. but will your alternator put out enough? I would think that if you had to use the winch (uses a lot of current), stuck in mud etc, and the engine was still running, you may drain both batteries and would still be stuck. Maybe if you added a batt. isolator and used that batt. to run the winch you would be better off. This is a very iffy situation because I think that the batt. that it comes with is a little rinkydink anyway and is just enough to run the quad and nothing more. I would do some research and see what it would take to put in larger batteries and also if a higher current alternator would be needed and also an isolator.
