With the double row of peppers it is hard for the planters to keep up. I am pulling it with a CaseIH 885 in low range, 1st gear, TA on and idiling. The peppers are spaced 17" apart in each of the double rows and offset. Water is dumped into the wheel and out the punch hole and so you are pushing the plants into mud. If the soil is right the water and mud will cover the plug and the plant will be set. Sometimes you have to go back and put some dirt around the root ball. If the plastic isn't tight or it gets too windy we throw some dirt on top of the plastic to hold it down. 
A hydro transmission would be nice. Phil
