Need some advice on Farmall 706

I have a 1967 Farmall 706 with a diesel engine. When I bought the tractor I was doing more custom hay baling and the tractor worked great. Since then I have started growing more soybeans and corn. I use the tractor to pull a 12 foot field cultivator,I think it is 12 foot disk and rarely a 4 bottom plow. It seems to struggle working ground and I really don"t have the money to buy a bigger tractor. Would loading the tires make any difference working ground. Thanks for your input. TJH72
