I had a similar problem with a 640 remove the rotor and look at the flat alignment on the shaft.Ford for some reason put a rotor spring, this clips around the shaft and a tab points up to make the rotor fit if not installed the rotor will have 1 in slop. To remove take a sharp blade and pry away from the shaft then pull up it wont break and cost me 6 bucks for a new one.
