So now everyone is mad at me

Finally got a opportunity to kill one of these crows that has been eating my pecans (that’s "pa cons" not "pee cans"). So anyway the neighbor across the street comes outside when she hears the shot and sees me tying this dead bird on a sting from the tree to try and keep away other crows. I can hear her yelling something to me but ignore her and go inside only to hear my 16 year old daughter tell me............ "You are not really going to leave that thing hanging from the tree. What will my friends think when they come over here" What’s a guy to do??????????
