Don't know about the tractor. The Continental "R" engine is made by Renault hence the R. As far as I know these engines are not made anymore. Some parts are available but are very expensive. They were used in commercial mowers such as the early Toro groundsmaster and Ransomes bobcat models. They were good when they worked but expensive to fix and if I recall prone to warped heads.
