The only thing that always got me through these months was bowling tournaments and leagues. The tournaments (semi-pro)usually lasted all weekend. The competition is fierce and the money not bad and there are many choices every weekend. The problem I have now, though is, I just had a total knee repl. on my slide/plant knee. Even if I bowl again,I won't be competitive. Knee is doing great, but they won't hold up to that kind of abuse. I have decided I will get back into body&paint and maybe do a couple antique tractors for some of the locals. They have been on me to do their tractors for a long time. I'm 56, nice warm shop and little extra money, no deadlines, sounds good to me. Winter should fly by!
