Since I can't use a shotgun anymore (two shoulder replacements) I use a 9mm Beretta with snake . shot. it does the trick Several gun dealers around here carry sort of a pistol using 410 loads. My neighbor has one an he claims its as good as my 9mm. either one is good at 10 -15 feet .
