ok... I'm gonna throw 2 cents in here... I think what Jack has IS a CO. First of all, look at the serial number he posted under the picture. C0307503 That second character is probably an O and not a zero, and even if it was a zero, that wouldn't make sense according to the formula for the six digit serial numbers. Therefore, we are looking at a 1932 CO. Second, according to "150 Years of JI Case", the CO DID have turning brakes, like a CC. And thirdly, the CO had the same front axle as the C, and that looks to be the case (pardon the pun) here. I'd imagine that the stamp on the tag under Model should read CO, but part of the second character is worn off. You may want to check the serial number stamped on the block to see what it says. You'll find that on the mag side of the engine, and right where the head and block meet, you will find a small area machined flat near the fuel tank. The serial number will be stamped there.
