404 engine, right, NOT the 359? I have considered doing the swap with a 404, but have NEVER actually done one, so take this advice as being worth just what it cost you! The combine oil PUMPS are the same between a 404 from a 6600 and a 4230 or 4430 tractor. Hovever, the oil pump COVERS and pickup screens are different. My thought was you could use the oil pan, oil pump cover and pickup screen for a 4230 or 4430 to mate the combine engine up with the tractor. However, I did not get around to absolutely verifying the 4230/4430 oil pan bolt pattern at the rear would match the 4020. If you run into trouble trying to do this, that's where it would be!
