Its been a huge awakening for me to see how people treat you when you are laid up. Today is 4 weeks to the day since I got my leg in a silage wrapper (17 pins in my right knee and lower leg). I'm on a walker and 20 hrs a day bedrest. Driving me (and spouse, kid, parents, cats, etc) NUTS. Even at the Drs office a dozen people almost slammed or tripped over my leg. Not like I can bend it, if I would, I could, lol. You'd think at an orthopedic surgeons office people would think about that stuff.

Keep us posted on whats happening. Maybe we can comiserate through rehab together.
