Unless it is a very slight load(5-10 hp(,a hydraulic motor will probably not do the job you want.To have any power, the motor will have to be fairly large,then add a gearbox to drive the shaft,plus it will take alot of oil flow to run it,and require a motor spool in your valve bank.While it is running,I doubt if you will have enough pump flow in reserve to even operate a cylinder on another remote without affecting the power and speed of the pto. Abilene Machine or Big Tractor Parts have salvaged a number of Steigers and will probably have a take out PTO assembly for your tractor but it will be the large diameter 1000 rpm stub.
