I've got a few of those relatives too. There's no reasoning with them. Main thing I have noticed is the ones that have the most advice to give have the least to show for it. Ignore them and build. Thats what I did 15 years ago. The hay business has always been good to me. One reason I hate thinking about giving it up.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
