I'd like to have access to such a list myself. The closest I've seen is the engine-parts catalogs most automotive machines-shops have. Look up and car, truck, tractor, etc. and it will give a list of the various engines used, and usually who made them. Also - books like Wendel's Standard Catalog of Farm Tractors is a great resource - perhaps not perfect - but still very good. With some engines, there's some "grey area" as to who should get credit for the engine. Allis Chalmers for one - they got in a feud with Detroit Diesel, and wound up buying the Buda engine company and using Buda engines -often referring to them as Allis engines. Deere used the the Hercules two-cylinder, and later copied and modified it and called it their own. IH used several Indian Mahindra engines -yet they are usually considered IH engines. IH used some Mazdas also. I suspect that sort of thing happened a lot. In regard to CO-OPs, and I'm no expert by any means, all the ones I've seen had Chrysler engines. In regard to Oliver - again I'm no expert. But - I thought they designed their own sixes starting in the 1930s and they had hoped they would execel due to the unusually high compression ratio used.
