Glennster, See if your state conservation guys have a decoy deer to set up on your property. We pretty much mopped up the poachers and trophy hunters in my zone several years ago in NYS. Even arrested a local cop in full pack uniform taking a shot. Local sportsmens groups actually bought the mount for us I remember. Our decoy was a standing mount with a servo-motor that remotely rotated the head, had interchangable racks, reflective eyes. Some even had a mechanized tail. It was a huge deterrent and fortunately nobody got hurt in the process. I can reveal this now since its old technique back home. Some of the illegal stunts I've seen defy belief.....way beyond stupid ! Kestrel
