Well, don't do what I did. I have an A John Deere that just recently developed a hole on the top of the exhaust manifold. I dabbed a some JB weld on it, and a little dripped down. Now I'm going to have to take the head off, because the way my luck goes, it probably dropped right onto the face of a valve, and if I were to turn the engine, I'd probably break something. I'd kick myself in the butt, but I'd probably break my leg. Jim.
