Beavers

Any way to get rid of beavers,beside hollow point lead poisining?When this first happened we called the state and they came out and set traps but the beavers kept springing them and filling them with crap.They keep plugging the spill pipe on our pond.Wondered if any body has any experience in getting rid of them.
