Jim,,,,, I've had 4 kidney stones so far..The last time I saw my urologist he confided in me to drink a glass of orange juice every morning and drink lots of water during the day..I stopped using the well water at work..The last 3 times I changed the whole house filter there , there must have been 3 to 4 ounces of sand in the canister..I bought a filter/conditioner for work..Knock on wood , I haven't had any stones since the last go-around..About 2 years now..My last stone got caught in my ureter and Doc had to go up through " Old Slick " and fetch it out..That first "leak" after the procedure was a killer....
