why I do it

Sometimes as I read these posts I wonder why some guys bother to resore old tractors,. Some seem to take pleasure in having 10-20 etc of them so they can say I have this and that.
I started because I wanted to regain a little of my heritage going back to the 30's 40 's when I consider all the good times I had on the farm.
Last saturday I founf the real reason---I bbuilt a float and the kids from the church decoated it and rode behind my 51 M thowing out little cross and fish keychains. The kids had a ball doing something for Christ and enjoying the fellowship of other including manu adults. Now I know why I did it. Needto do another so the kids can take turns riding on it.
