Folks, in case you weren't aware of it, there's an organization that works to provide flights to bring American servicemen on leave home for the holidays. With the help of dedicated Americans just like you, since 2001 the folks at www.lbeh.org has been taking cash donations and donated airline miles to provide our military members with tickets so that they might be able to spend the holidays with their families. So today I'm asking you to at least go to the website, and look at what these people are doing. Then I ask that you look into your heart, and see if there's any way you can help by making a contribution to such a worthy cause. We all support our troops...but here's a chance to turn your money--or unused airline miles--into a Christmas gift that some service member will really appreciate. And if you're unable to give, I'd like to ask you to pass the website along to all the people on your email list, in hopes that others will have the opportunity to bring some holiday cheer into the lives of the folks who protect us 24/7. But don't delay--I've been told that some of these trrops need to have their travel itinerary turned in by THIS SUNDAY! Thank you for your help with this, on behalf of the military personnel and their families.
