Hey thanks for all the replies! I think its that 'metal center plate' that I can't get off! I can rotate it, but it won't pull out. Will try again tonight or tomorrow. This slip clutch has 2 discs, one of which disintegrated and the other of which is still fairly intact. Thanks for the link. I hope to buy two new discs and get this clutch back into service. Joe Stewart
