Pretty much the whole idea is dangerous, even for the experienced ones. About 10 years ago I planted our 1600 hauling manure, and then we planted our 285 trying to pull it out. My dad ended up chaining a log under the wheel, and before he did anything, he made sure to tell me that if I EVER did anything like he was doing to get the tractor out, he'd kill me if the tractor didn't first. It worked, but the 285 was weighted down pretty heavy on the fornt. If it wasn't it probably would have gone over because the wheels did lift off the ground a couple inches while the log bit in.
