Naw, the 3.4 engine had the same problems as the 3.1. If that is the same setup as my wifes 99 Malibu, with the 3.1, or 3100 engine, which I think is similar, I just did the intake gaskets because of the same leaks. The gasket set for the complete set, will cost you $76.00. It took me about 12 hours to do the job, and you will need an inch pound torque wrench for the job. Where do you live at in Indiana? I live in Liberty Indiana, just south of Richmond Indiana. Email is open
