Probably wasting your time here, but: I'm assuming the shiny red piece that wont fit comes from your 966 and you are transferring it to Gary's tractor as part of the cab change process. If so, are they supposed to interchange? Referring to top pic, is it possible to drill a new hole in the dirty sheet metal forward of the old one that you have the piece bolted to, or is another piece of metal supposed to fit there? I can't tell if that will mess up some other alignment or not. KEH
