A neighbor that is not on line that runs a small 1 man scrap yard has just goyyen in some items that we think are worth more than scrap price but we do not know what he should ask for them. 1, a pair of 6" wide by 36" diameter drop center rims, only surface rust, no major rust and never have been welded on. 2, A pair of Fordson Steel rims with lugs, some pothole rust through spots that can be repaired, no signs they ever had centers in them, possibly used as duals. 3, Farmal F 20 or F 30 cutoff wheel with 36" rim, no rust through showing and this rim has a old style closed tread Firestone tire 13 X 36" ( about 1/2 tread) on it but the tire has a puncture hole through the sidewall that I have seen holes like that ( approximatly 4") patched by fastening a piece of sidewall of a newer tire inside of the hole, stem of tube shows no sign of rust or calcium. To sell them from the yard or to take them to a tractor show consignment auction in the spring what kind of a price or reserve should he put on them, items are in northwest Ohio.
