Most of the plows I have owned had a chart in the book to go by. For instance I had a JD F145 and for a 4020 it said to set the right wheel 32" from the center of the tractor. Now I have a IH 666 with a JD high clearence 3-16 mounted plow and that same dimension works on it too. Most of the older mounted plows I have had, 25" from the center seems to be a good starting point.
