I think the price should be allmost half as much. There are about 5 different companies that build tractors that are labled Belarus. The 500,800,900 water cooled series, made by Minsk can break bellhousings unless the loader mounts to rear axle. I think the 400 or 250 series started as copies of Deutz tractors from the 40s. I heard the Russians took the whole Deutz factory back with them when they took control of Part Of Germany. They still have a old look to them. Getting parts is not a problem. There are two really good dealers in the US that ship UPS. Partsforbelarus.com is an unofficial supplier. If you want to wait 2-3 weeks, you can even order parts from Alex in the Ukrain.
