Skywalker: I wont comment on the Steiger as I know very little about them. I have operated new Deere and New Holland articulated tractors, and I have operated older Deere articulated tractors. Currently I will give the edge to New Holland. If it were me and drawbar tillage was what I'm looking for, that 4650 would go down the driveway so fast you'd think it was flying. There are only two reasons to keep a conventional tractor over 100 hp anymore. The first and most important one is operation of trailer pto equipment. The second reason would be just pure inefficiency.
