If you also need to know if shes coming up to TDC on the Power/Compression stroke versus the Exhaust Stroke, simply remove the plug and you can feel the pressure building if shes coming up on Compression. If she has the Magneto Ignition as I suspect on some of them (like the direct drive NON reduction gear drive such as Wico C or X Models) it can be timed to snap/fire at either TDC Power or Exhaust cuz those Mags fire at BOTH TDC's.
