I must say that I haven't checked the manifold, but I can tell you that the engine sounds fine. Same as allways. Would there be a sound change if a piston was bad? WaynefromMI thinks that it is probably unburnt diesel getting to the turbo and turning to sludge, so I ran it pretty good the other day to make sure as burning all diesel and the oil was just drip, drip, dripping out of the bottom of that turbo. that was when I also listened real good to the motor, front to back carefully and there were no strange sounds coming from it at all. That is when I decided to start calling around for turbo prices. Thanks for your help and advice. I'll post the results because pretty soon I will know what the cause of the oil is.
