Tim, everything I"ve ever read about the modern military makes me think that those generals who run it don"t want anything to do with draftees. In a military that is high-tech and needs motivated individuals, you"ll be hard-pressed to find less motivated people than those who are there when they don"t want to be. For this and several other reasons I doubt we will see a draft until/unless there is a major crisis. I was in the Air Force "85-"90 and I benefited greatly from the experience. Just remember to sign up for a career field that you want, and one that can earn you a salary when you get out. Get the training and learn all you can. It"s a great place to get some valuable life experience. Tim
