Bill-- I think that dog came to you at that place and time for a reason. Maybe you'll find it's owner and they will be happy to find him. The honest thing to do is to place an ad....but beware of scammers...some folks take any dog available. If you like the dog, be very picky about who you give it up to. Make the owner provide you with a photo of the dog. Best of luck whatever transpires....and enjoy your new buddy if in fact he remains yours....how about a photo of the fella?
